Police Pickets’ Demands

Demanding improved work benefits, about 50 off-duty members of the Culver City Police Officers Assn. picketed in Veterans Memorial Park and at homes of local officials Sunday.
Demonstrators called on City Council members to pass a resolution that would provide matching funds for an officers’ retirement savings program, said Sgt. Hank Davies, president of the association.
