It is surprising that The Times has allowed Gardner to perpetuate the myth that intellectual capability is possessed only by students at elite schools such as Harvard, and that, in her view, there are few to none such students at our community colleges and state universities.
Her view shows either a total ignorance of the capability of the students at our community colleges and state universities or a degree of intellectual snobbishness that degrades the pages of The Times.
