Hart, Blackwell Runs Over Dana Hills, 41-13

VALENCIA — Running back Howard Blackwell accounted for 266 yards in total offense and scored two touchdowns to lead Hart High School to a 41-13 victory over Dana Hills in a Division III playoff opener Friday night at College of the Canyons.
Blackwell gained 189 yards and scored twice on 18 carries and caught five passes for 77 yards.
“He was magnificient,” Dana Hills Coach Don Douglass said.
The Dolphins (7-4) scored on their first drive, with fullback Matt Carvalho (63 yards, 16 carries) running in from three yards.
Quarterback Rob Westervelt of Hart (10-1) completed 10 of 20 passes for 170 yards. John DePaco caught two touchdown passes.
