In the midst of the official applause and the media euphoria towards the Panama invasion, Jackson has said what needed to be said about the glossed over terrible costs of lives and destruction. Can a serious, conscientious, compassionate person believe that these results are justified by the capture of a man whose major crime against the U.S. is that he has effectively worked to satisfy our insatiable appetite for drugs?
