A 29-year-old San Diego man was arrested late Friday and charged with the murder of his roommate, a student at San Diego State University.
Christopher Burns was booked into San Diego County Jail Saturday on charges of murdering Tiffany Paige Schultz, 20, authorities said.
According to police accounts, Burns told police that he returned to the Clairemont apartment that he shared with Schultz shortly after 9 p.m. Friday and found her dead from numerous stab wounds.
He was questioned and later arrested.
