NASD May Tighten Rules for Listing Stocks: The National Assn. of Securities Dealers, eager to lock fraudulent penny stock companies out of its trading system, said it is considering tightening its rules for listing companies. Frank Wilson, NASD executive vice president said the NASD’s board will consider proposals to raise its listing standards within the next two months. He could not state what changes are under consideration.
