Times handicapper Bob Mieszerski turned in a $61.80 profit when his $30 win parlay from Fire Back ($3.60) in the second to Opening Verse ($3.40) in the eighth hit. Bob, who started the meeting with a mythical $1,000 bankroll is now at $691.80.
Bob’s bet today is a $30 daily double from Flom in the first to Swinging Juan in the second. If Swinging Juan, an also eligible, is scratched, his bet is $50 to win on Flom.
