A new president and chief operating officer has been named for the Macy’s South/Bullock’s division of R. H. Macy & Co.
The incoming president is Mark S. Sellers, 38, who since December, 1988, had been executive vice president and chief financial officer for the Marshalls Inc. off-price retail chain. As the division’s No. 2 executive, he will report to Chairman Harold D. Kahn.
Sellers replaces Joseph Berzok, 55, who is retiring. Macy’s South/Bullock’s, based in Atlanta, consists of 48 department stores, including 20 Bullock’s stores in Southern California.
