More than 100 works by Orange County...

More than 100 works by Orange County artists will be auctioned off Saturday evening when the Arts Associates of Huntington Beach sponsor a fund-raiser, “Portfolio ‘90,” at the Huntington Beach Civic Center, 2000 Main St., from 6 to 10:30 p.m. There will be live entertainment, a Champagne buffet supper donated by local restaurants, and a ceremony at which “visual artist of the year,” “performing artist of the year” and “volunteer service to the arts” awards will be presented by Mayor Tom Mays. Donor tickets are $25 per person and Patron tickets are $125 per couple. Proceeds will benefit numerous arts programs in the city including a scholarship program, children’s workshops, annual juried exhibitions, Arts on the Green and the Family Concert Series.
