Police Probe Neglect Issue in Fire Fatal to 5 Children

MILWAUKEE — other and her boyfriend were arrested Friday on suspicion of neglect after a house fire that killed five of the woman’s children and critically injured another, but they were later released pending further investigation, authorities said.
The home was gutted by a fire Thursday night that an investigator said appeared accidental and may have been caused by children playing with matches. The children had been left at home alone.
