GROVER LANE, etc.: The Sesame Street characters created by Jim Henson (A1) once were used as street names in an El Toro trailer park. . . . Names included Cookie Monster Road, Big Bird Lane, Oscar Way and Sesame Street itself. . . . Both the trailer park and the street names are gone, but now there is a character on the show named Irvine. She’s Oscar the Grouch’s niece and she first appeared several years ago. . . . “As far as we know,” said the show’s head writer, Norman Stiles, “it has nothing to do with Irvine, California.”
