Monday marks the celebration of Memorial Day, a day to honor and remember those who died in the nation’s wars.
Closed: All government offices, courts, banks, post offices, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries, schools and many businesses. RTD buses will follow Sunday schedules.
Celebrations: Services will be held Monday at Veterans Administration Los Angeles National Cemetery, Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Long Beach, Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery, and Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Carson, Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier and Riverside National Cemetary.
