The Culver City Council and Redevelopment Agency on Monday approved about $2.4 million to build a new recreation building and to redesign McManus Park.
In addition to the 4,000-square-foot recreation building, the park will include a new basketball court, picnic area and children’s play area, said City Engineer Jim Davis.
Renovations to the park, on the eastern area of the city where National Boulevard crosses Ballona Creek, will probably begin by the end of this year and be completed in the summer of 1991, Davis said.
