NAACP, CBS Records Near Pact: CBS Records and the NAACP have apparently resolved their differences over a “fair share” economic agreement to provide more jobs and business contracts to blacks and are expected to sign the record industry’s first such accord in the next few weeks, NAACP sources say. The civil rights organization has signed fair share agreements with 50 firms since 1982 but has no agreements with the $6.5-billion record industry.
