HULL, England — Soren Lilholt of Denmark won the fourth stage of the Tour of Britain cycling race today, holding off the challenge by countryman Jesper Skibby.
The two sprinted for the line one minute and 31 seconds ahead of the main pursuers with times of 3:45.05.
Michel Dernies of Belgium held his overall lead.
Dernies and Scotland’s Robert Millar were tied in total time, but Dernies’ better points score, achieved with higher placings in the stages, kept him in front.
