Photography Center to Host Graffiti Art Expo

The Los Angeles Photography Center hosts the third annual Graffiti Art Expo Aug. 18-19. This free exhibit shows the artistic quality of spray-painted murals through slides, photos, video documentaries, and live demonstrations on canvas by some of the more noted artists in the field.
Jim Prigoff, author of “Spraycan Art,” will also be on hand to show slides of graffiti art from throughout the United States. The event, sponsored by the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department, will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days at 412 S. Park View Street.
