Negotiations to Settle Mideast Crisis

In spite of reams of print devoted to the reasons, excuses and explanations of and for the present conflict transpiring in the Middle East, two important goals fail to be separated and clarified:
One, the supply of oil to the West to be preserved; two, the correlative that oil monopolizes the source of energy in the West, suppressing displacement by alternative sources.
