Agoura 28, California 19--With Agoura leading, 21-13, with less than eight minutes left, Charger defensive back Matt Francisco recovered a fumble in Agoura’s end zone to stop a California drive. Agoura drove 80 yards after the fumble to record an insurance touchdown.
Francisco scored Agoura’s first touchdown of the year on a 25-yard run in the second period. He finished with 105 yards in 16 carries.
Kirk Klotz, a defensive back and backup running back, rushed for 81 yards in nine carries and also returned an interception 32 yards for a touchdown to give Agoura (2-0) the lead for good in the third quarter.
