Santa Monica : Preferential Parking OKd

The City Council on Tuesday night adopted two ordinances establishing preferential parking zones within Santa Monica.
One of the ordinances limits parking to a maximum of two hours between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, except by permit, on Dorchester Avenue between Exposition Boulevard and Delaware Avenue.
The council also voted to expand the preferential parking zone in the Ocean Park area to include Bicknell Avenue between 3rd and 4th streets. For those without a permit, parking is limited to a maximum of two hours between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. and prohibited between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.
