SEATTLE — A national survey of business executives said today that Seattle is the best city in the United States to locate a business.
Thirty-three percent of chief executives surveyed in the 1990 Cushman & Wakefield Monitor chose the northwestern city as the best locale for a business.
The chief executives gave Seattle high marks for quality of life and as a place where business conditions will improve over the next year.
Second in the survey was Sacramento, with Portland, Ore., third; Norfolk, Va., fourth, and San Diego fifth.
