Lance Parrish Earns Angel of the Week Honors

Catcher Lance Parrish, who hit three home runs and drove in six runs against the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers last week, has been named Angel of the Week by The Times’ Orange County Edition.
Parrish, who was 11 for 30 (a .367 batting average) in seven games, had at least one hit in each of the last six games. He scored five runs and raised his batting average to .266.
A check for $250 in Parrish’s name will be given to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Orange County.
