Arizona Coach Dick Tomey was impressed by UCLA’s defense in the Bruins’ 30-20 victory over Washington State Saturday night at Pullman.

“That was one of the more amazing performances from a team that I’ve seen in the Pac-10 for a number of years, because Washington State has just run up and down the field on everybody,” said Tomey, whose team plays UCLA at the Rose Bowl Saturday. “We regard (WSU’s) offense as one of the toughest to stop in the country.”
