INDIANAPOLIS — Eric Dickerson, the born-again Indianapolis Colt, passed a physical examination today and was cleared to begin practice with the team he once vowed would never again list him on its roster.
The Colts had today off, and Dickerson was expected to rejoin his teammates for Tuesday’s scheduled practice, team spokesman Craig Kelley said.
Dickerson, who had threatened to retire from football and was suspended and on the NFL’s non-football injured reserve list the past six weeks, signed a four-year contract extension for a reported $10.75 million Saturday.
