Morningside Names Randle Girls’ Basketball Coach

As expected, Ron Randle has been named Morningside High girls’ basketball coach. The announcement was made Wednesday night at a meeting of the Inglewood school board.
Randle, co-coach of the Morningside boys’ basketball team for the past six years, succeeds Frank Scott, who coached the Lady Monarchs for 10 years before resigning in August to become an assistant with the USC women’s team.
The Morningside girls have won the past two state Division I titles.
