Thanksgiving Food Drive: The South Orange County Board of Realtors is conducting its annual Thanksgiving food drive to benefit needy senior citizens.
The program collects donations of food and cash from area businesses and residents to provide Thanksgiving meal makings, including turkeys, to the needy. Unused foodstuffs are donated to the San Clemente Interfaith Servicemen’s Center and any excess money is donated to local senior citizens’ meal programs.
Residents or businesses interested in participating can drop donations off through Nov. 20 at any real estate office in San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point or Capistrano Beach, or can contact the South Orange County Board of Realtors office in Capistrano Beach.
