Teacher Royalties
I’m sick and tired of seeing entertainers command huge sums for doing comparatively little work, while teachers get virtually peanuts working their butts off under often inadequate and sometimes dangerours conditions.
To rectify this disparity, teachers should be given royalty for every student of theirs who they help prepare for a successful career. The royalties would be taken from the annual earnings of each former student.
If the music and movie industries can have a system of royalties, it is high time for teachers to demand the same. For without the foundations provided by dedicated teachers, there would be few success stories in our country.
