COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Fullerton Women Defeat LaSalle by 20

Genia Miller scored 28 points and Claudette Jackson added 17 as Cal State Fullerton defeated LaSalle, 75-55, in the first round of the Montana Tournament in Missoula.

Heidi James scored 13 for Fullerton (4-1), which led, 33-26, at the half. Fullerton shot 50% (27 of 54) from the field. Jackson made seven of 10 shots.

In nonconference women basketball:

Chapman 88, Point Loma Nazarene 78--Jackie Saunders had 21 points and 12 rebounds and Linda Kirby scored 17 for the Panthers (6-3). Five Chapman players scored in double figures.
