VENTURA : Library to Close for Renovation Project
- Share via
H. P. Wright Library in Ventura will be closed for more than a month beginning Monday while workers install a larger circulation desk and new carpet, directors said.
The 25-year-old library, which houses about 90,000 volumes, will reopen Jan. 21. Bookmobile service will be available in the parking lot from noon to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays.
A bigger circulation desk will enable librarians to better serve customers, who check out more than 25,000 books each month, said Yvonne Seabold, library director.
