Francisco Gabilondo Soler, 83, the children’s songwriter known as “Cri-Cri” whose compositions have been sung throughout the Spanish-speaking world. Gabilondo Soler wrote and performed hundreds of songs that captivated Mexican radio audiences for years and made his nickname--from a child’s word for cricket--a household word throughout his country.
