The Sidelines : Pac-10 Honors USC’s Miner

WALNUT CREEK — USC guard Harold Miner was named the Pacific-10 Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week today.
Miner led all scorers with a career-high 35 points in the Trojans’ 105-95 victory over Notre Dame last Wednesday. In 37 minutes of play, he added two steals while committing no turnovers.
Miner leads the Pac-10 in scoring with a 25.8 average. USC, at 5-1 with four consecutive victories, is off to its best start in 15 years.
