In the Nov. 22 issue, there are two “memorable images of Latino Los Angeles.” One is of a father and his daughter dressed for her first Communion. The other is of an older gang member initiating what appears to be little more than a child into his way of life.
The photo of these gang members is an ignorant insult to all honest Hispanics. This bandanna-glorification will only provide an obscene role model for the small boys of our community.
