Controversy Over Dolphins
I would just like to say that if Al Martinez wants “to see dolphins floating belly-up in the drift nets” then he has certainly chosen the right side of the controversy. Bumble Bee has been involved in that specific scenario on more than one certifiable, verifiable, documented occasion.
Of course they are not proud of this fact and will do everything possible to keep the truth from being known by the American consumer. What could Bumble Bee or its president, Mark Koob, possibly have to gain from this “campaign of deception”? (Obviously, this is a rhetorical question!)
And Al Martinez, in his newly adopted role as defender of “underdog” tuna corporations, has done a good job of helping Bumble Bee perpetuate its apparent “cause”--profit at any price.
