Leslie, Easterly Lead USC Past Missouri

Lisa Leslie had 21 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots, and Joni Easterly added a career-high 21 points Thursday night as USC routed Missouri, 87-55, in a women’s college basketball game at Lyon Center.
The Trojans (6-4), who won their third consecutive game, held the Tigers (7-6) scoreless for the first five minutes and Missouri didn’t make a field goal for 10 minutes. USC led, 10-0, before Stacy Williams made two free throws, and increased the lead to 21-2.
Ericka Fields had 15 points for Missouri. Tammy Story added 12 for USC.
The Trojans open the Pacific 10 Conference season Saturday at UCLA.
