Countywide : Maine Man Likely to Get Airports Post

The Ventura County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday is expected to appoint Marshall MacKinen, municipal airport and industrial park director in Auburn, Maine, as Ventura County’s new airports administrator. His annual salary would be $55,944.
MacKinen was chosen by a selection committee composed of Supervisors Maggie Erickson and John Flynn and Chief Administrative Officer Richard Wittenberg. He was selected from 45 applicants for the job.
The current airports administrator, Jim O’Neill, will retire March 1.
