Two-year fellowships for two female graduate students at Caltech have been funded through a $100,000 grant from the Clare Boothe Luce Fund.
The grants will support women students beginning graduate studies at Caltech next fall to pursue doctorate degrees in the sciences. The recipients have not been named.
The fund, created to encourage women to enter, study, graduate and teach in scientific and technological fields, is administered by the New York City-based Henry Luce Foundation.
