Loyola Gets Fifth Win in a Row

PORTLAND, Ore. — Terrell Lowery scored 36 points and had nine assists Saturday night as Loyola Marymount ran over Portland for its fifth victory in a row, 128-96.
It was the eighth time in a row the Lions have beaten the Pilots as they improved to 5-5 in the West Coast Conference and 12-13 overall.
Tom Petruska added 15 points for Loyola, which made 58% of its shots (48 of 83) and bolted to a 59-37 lead at halftime.
Grant Tracy had 17 points for Portland. The Pilots, who lead the WCC in three-point shooting, made only four of 15 shots from distance.
