Student Is Named Scholar Semifinalist

Andrew Chen of Diamond Bar High School has been named one of 1,500 semifinalists in the 1991 Presidential Scholars Program.
In April, 500 finalists will be selected and in May, 141 will be named Presidential Scholars. The scholars, who are graduating seniors, will travel to Washington in June to participate in activities with elected officials and educators.
