Gillette in Soviet Venture: Gillette Co. said it signed a joint venture agreement with Lenninets Concern, a scientific and production group in the Soviet Union, to make razor blades, shaving systems and disposable razors. Boston-based Gillette said the Soviet Union was one of the largest blade markets in the world, estimating annual sales at 750 million units. Gillette will hold a majority of the equity in the project, which is expected to get under way in 1992, the company said.
