Saddleback 6, Estancia 5--Right fielder David Madrid threw out the potential tying run at the plate for the final out to preserve the victory in the consolation championship game. Estancia (2-2) led, 4-0, after three innings, but Saddleback, which finished with only six hits, came back with three runs in the fourth, two in the sixth and one in the seventh for a 6-4 advantage. Carlos Cevallos had two RBIs on a single and a sacrifice fly to lead Saddleback (3-1).

Newport Harbor 8, Foothill 0--Greg Nielson (1-1) gave up two hits in six innings for the victory in the consolation game. Matt Stewart had three doubles and three runs batted in for Newport Harbor (2-2).
