Two San Fernando children died and their parents were injured in an auto accident in Cheltenham, England, during a family vacation, British officials said Monday.
The dead were identified as Amelia Zhorne, 17 months old, and her brother, Jeremey, 4.
Their parents, Jeff and Wendy Zhorne, were driving through Gloucestershire Friday when their car collided with another in Cheltenham, 90 miles northwest of London, police and American Embassy officials said.
Amelia died at the accident scene, said Hilary Allison of the Gloucestershire police force. Jeremey died Monday afternoon at Cheltenham General Hospital, a hospital spokesman said.
The parents remained hospitalized Monday in stable condition.
The driver of the other car, Wilfred Hannes, 45, of Cheltenham, suffered shock, Allison said. Officers were investigating the cause of the crash.
