Forum Boxing Card Features Title Bout

Rolando Pascua will make his first defense of the World Boxing Council light flyweight title he won in December when he fights ninth-ranked Melchor Cab Castro Monday at 7 p.m. at the Forum.
Pascua (25-5, nine knockouts) won the title from Chiquita Gonzales with a sixth-round knockout. Castro is 28-2-4 with 13 knockouts. If Pascua wins, he would fight Gonzales on the June 3 undercard of the Virgil Hill-Thomas Hearns World Boxing Assn. light heavyweight title fight at Caesars Palace.
In Monday’s co-feature, Fabian Tejeda (23-1, 21 knockouts) opposes Bryant Paden (13-6-3, four knockouts) in a bantamweight bout.
