NEW YORK — Benoit Benjamin of the Seattle SuperSonics was fined $1,500 by the NBA Wednesday for making an obscene gesture before a game last week against the Clippers in the Sports Arena.
The 7-foot center, traded from the Clippers Feb. 20, apologized Tuesday for the gesture, which came during pregame introductions in his first game back as a member of the SuperSonics.
