A Just Retribution for Saddam Hussein
Not so long ago, we had a wartime president who commanded many thousands of warriors who sported vastly superior technological power. The war with Iraq was a one-sided affair and short-lived.
With the enemy on the run and eventually routed, President Bush decided they’d had enough and stopped the chase. Saddam Hussein, however, is still doing his thing against helpless civilians of every stripe.
Richard Nixon, of all people, suggests we fix Saddam’s clock for good. For once, I agree with him. Bush does not. Instead, he offers to set free that same man, the one who most deserves to die!
We won the war? Ha! To my knowledge, Saddam has never surrendered, but it seems that George Bush wants to surrender our victory.
