Four county high school athletes have signed letters of intent with colleges, it was announced Tuesday.
Wanda Sequeira, a 5-foot-7 guard from Tustin, said she has signed to play basketball at the University of San Francisco next season.
Michelle Cash has signed to play softball at New Mexico next season, Garden Grove Coach Paula Cervantes said.
Rachel Ward, who helped Costa Mesa reach the Southern Section Division III-A finals last season, will play basketball at Cal State Northridge. Ward’s father, Tom Ward, said Ward signed a letter of intent Tuesday.
Travis Burgus, a Capistrano Valley High pitcher, has signed a letter of intent to play for University of San Diego, the university announced Tuesday.
