COSTA MESA : Erickson Selected to Fill Council Seat

The City Council on Monday appointed Joe Erickson to fill the vacancy left by former Councilman Ed Glasgow, who unexpectedly resigned his council seat in June.
Erickson, 34, was unanimously selected from among four candidates. He has served on the Planning Commission for six years, including one year as chairman.
At its July 1 meeting, the council nominated eight candidates, then narrowed the list to Karen McGlinn, Dave Stiller, Mark Korando and Erickson.
