NO SHOW: The financially troubled Orange County Philharmonic Society’s decision to cancel the Moscow State Symphony’s only West Coast appearance of the season (F1) has left the orchestra “scrambling to keep (its American tour) financially together,” according to agent Kerby Lovallo of New York City. . . . “We’re committed contractually to producing a tour,” Lovallo said. “(But) this has the potential to be terrible financially for us.” The orchestra, which was set to play the Orange County Performing Arts Center Oct. 4 through 6, has engagements on the East Coast and in the Midwest.
