BURGER KINGS: The captains of fast food descend on the Disneyland Hotel tonight to pay homage to one of their pioneers, Carl Karcher, on the 50th anniversary of his first hot dog sale from a cart in downtown Los Angeles. . . . Among the luminaries: executives from Wendy’s, Hardee’s and In-N-Out Burger. But they won’t be munching on Western Bacon Cheeseburgers as Bob Hope performs. The appetizer alone is a mouthful: grapefruit cornucopia of dilled citrus creme pasta, with smoked salmon and beluga caviar.
