Face Fountains

Landscape designer Chris Rosmini is well known for her use of small containerized water features. They are a signature of sorts and many of her gardens have a large concrete container or two that burbles away or holds water lilies or other aquatic plants. They might also include a few fish to help control mosquitoes.
It’s a way to bring the sight and sound of water into the garden without great expense.
Now husband Dick Rosmini has come up with a way to turn these water features into little figurative fountains--pixieish faces or masks that lie half submerged and gurgle water through their mouths in classical fashion.
At his studio in Glassell Park, Rosmini sculpts them out of concrete (they are not made in molds) and the prices begin at $350. They make enchanting fountains for the small garden.
