Applications for $50,000 in cultural funds for 1991-92 will be accepted by the city’s Cultural Commission starting Sept. 1.
The commission will hold an informational session on the funding program at its meeting at 7 p.m. on Aug. 26 at City Hall. The commission will also be seeking input from the public on the cultural needs of the city, said Wendy Lockwood-Larson.
“Do we need a performing arts theater, an art gallery or museum?” said Lockwood-Larson. “We are looking to our citizens for guidance.”
More information is available by calling Ann Feiner at City Hall at (714) 248-9890.
