Trout to Be Prized Catch at Mammoth
With summer drawing to a close, Eastern Sierra trout fishermen are looking forward to the annual Mammoth Lakes Blind Bogey tournament Sept. 21.
Fishermen can enter two trout a day from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mary, Mamie, Twin, George and Convict lakes or Mammoth Creek--all of which will be recipients of Alpers-raise rainbows weighing between three and five pounds plus thousands of state-planted rainbows.
There is no entry fee, and all who enter have an equal chance at $3,000 in prizes.
